20 ALPS volunteers spent a meaningful morning at HCA Oasis@Outram Day Hospice, supporting patients through mobility assistance, gentle exercises, games and companionship.

On 24 April, 20 ALPS volunteers spent a meaningful morning at HCA Oasis@Outram Day Hospice, sharing time and companionship with the patients.

Guided by the Oasis team, our volunteers welcomed patients from the arrival point, assisted with wheelchair handling, and took part in simple upper body exercises and light-hearted games. The morning was filled with laughter, warmth and genuine human connection.

We are grateful to HCA Hospice for the opportunity to give back to the community in small but meaningful ways. This was indeed a fulfilling experience that reminded us of the importance of human connection with kindness.
